A city network spanning more than 1,000 km of pipeline and 20,000 fittings required survey integration, hydraulic simulation and detailed CAD layout.
We developed a novel AI-driven engineering design approach to support our client's vision to grow 4× with no increase in manpower.
The workflow
Survey, simulation, layout
Survey data is integrated into GIS, pipe sizes are simulated, and the design layout is produced with every fitting, with Claude generating the CAD.

The result
From 2 months to 48 hours
First-cut design moved from two months to 48 hours. Most of the 48 hours that remain is engineering simulation time.
The workflow also added an auditable process around the generated design.
